A safe and effective workout in the water that reduces impact to joints while developing cardiovascular health, strength, flexibility, and endurance. This class is challenging but promises fun with high-energy music. Aquafit is available to all Campus Recreation members and current UTC students.
Fall 2023 Weekly Schedule:
Tuesdays & Thursdays - 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Our five-lane lap pool is open during all Aquatic Center hours. The lap pool is 25 yards long, 3.5' deep on the shallow end, and 10' deep on the depend side. We provide kickboards, pull buoys, various sizes of paddles, and fins for guests to use in their workouts.
Swim X Workouts
Looking to spice up your swim workout? Located beside the lap pool are 50+ swim workouts to enhance your swim. Each workout offers a beginner, intermediate, and advanced option. Some of the workouts include IM, Freestyle, Sprints, and Endurance.
Adaptive and Inclusive Lane
UTC Aquatics offers an inclusive lap lane for any individual who needs additional space or has an adaptive need during their workout. If the lane is occupied by a guest who does not have a need for this space, please ask a Lifeguard, and they will clear the lane for you.
