Guthrie Men's Quartet Scholarships
UTC media

The Guthrie Quartet was founded in 2021 following a generous gift. The four men earn a full scholarship to sing in the quartet and two other choral ensembles each semester. They sing as a quartet for concerts, church services, and other school and community events. They also sing the national anthem at athletic events. One of the goals of the group is to explore the many styles male quartets sing. Their repertoire includes music from the Barbershop, German Romantic, Russian Orthodox, British Folk, American Hymnody, and the African American Spiritual traditions.
