Marching Mocs
The future of the Marching Mocs is truly exciting - and we want YOU to be a part of the excitement! For more than a CENTURY, the band at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga has been one of the most visible representatives of the university, and the catalyst for the energetic gameday atmosphere at Finley Stadium! Be a part of the 102nd Edition of the Marching Mocs!
The UTC Marching Mocs perform at all UTC home football games, selected parades and exhibitions. Participation in the Marching Mocs is open to all UTC students, as well as Chattanooga State students, regardless of your major. Students receive credit for participation in the class which meets on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 4:00 PM - 5:50 PM.
All members of the UTC Marching Mocs must be officially enrolled in course MUS 0030, which offers one hour of academic credit. There is also a “zero credit” section that we offer should you need that option.
Members of the Marching Mocs get paid to march! All members are eligible to receive a Service Award ranging from $200.00 - $800.00 for completing the season without issue.
We invite you to join us as we work to build the largest student group on campus and provide support and energy to the UTC Mocs!
