Wind Ensemble

The UTC Wind Ensemble is the flagship concert wind band at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. The Wind Ensemble performs a varied repertoire ranging from the most cutting-edge literature to cornerstone pieces from the wind band literature. Membership in the Wind Ensemble is open to all UTC students, regardless of major. Seating in the ensemble is based on an audition that takes place before the semester’s start. The Wind Ensemble performs several concerts each year and is heavily involved in the Tri-State Honor Band in January. This academic year, the Wind Ensemble will be performing at the prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York City!
The Wind Ensemble is under the direction of Professor Randall Coleman and is assisted by Dr. Christopher Lawhorne. Feel free to email Professor Coleman with any questions about the Wind Ensemble at [email protected]
