Symphonic Band

Symphonic Band

The Symphonic Band is a music ensemble course offered during the spring semester, and is one of two concert ensembles at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. The Symphonic Band performs a varied repertoire ranging from contemporary literature to cornerstone pieces from the wind band literature. 

Membership in the Symphonic Band is open to all UTC students, regardless of major. There is no audition for the ensemble; however, there is a seating placement held at the beginning of the semester to determine chair order in the ensemble. The Symphonic Band performs one concert in the spring semester.
