Department of Music

The mission of the Music Department is to cultivate a passion for musical excellence by providing the highest quality education.

The Department of Music has been a member of the National Association of Schools of Music since 1933.  The Department offers undergraduate degrees in performance, music education and theory/composition, as well as graduate degrees in performance and music education.

The faculty members are highly qualified active recitalists, chamber music, conductors, and members of local professional performing organizations; most have earned the terminal degree in their field.
