Music Pedagogy and Conducting Certificate

The Music Pedagogy and Conducting Certificate at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga is designed for music educators and advanced students who want to strengthen their conducting and teaching skills.

This program focuses on practical training in:

Admission Requirements

In addition to the requirements for admission to the UTC Graduate School, a student wishing to obtain the Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Music Pedagogy and Conducting should have a Bachelor’s degree in Music, any concentration. The student must write a letter of application stating the applicant’s goals for graduate study in Music Education.
