Overflow Housing

Overflow housing is being offered Fall 2023 in Lockmiler, Guerry or West RA rooms, reconfigured West Campus lounges or a nearby off-campus property.

This is a temporary assignment, and we expect to be able to assign you to a permanent on-campus space later.  The students in RA rooms will be the first to get a new assignment, as early as September.  The students in West Campus reconfigured lounges and off-campus property will get a new assignment by the end of fall semester in December.  However, it is possible that you will be assigned to a permanent space before move-in day, as space becomes available. 

Lockmiler, Guerry or West RA rooms:

Twin XL bed has been added to the RA bedroom, these larger rooms accommodate 2 people nicely, each student will have a bed, dresser, desk and chair

Reconfigured West Campus lounges:

The former study lounges on the 3rd, 4th and 5th floors have been converted into student space. Each student will have a twin XL bed, dresser, desk and chair. There is also a bathroom inside lounge.

Nearby off-campus property:

Palmetto Place Apartments, 910 E. 8th Street. Students will be assigned to a 2 bedroom, 1 bath unit for 4 residents. Beds will be twin XL. Check in will be located at the complex.

Parking Passes - A limited number of parking passes are available on a first come first serve basis or until September 1. Pass is $250 for the semester. Students should email [email protected] to request a pass and for more details.
