Pep Band

The UTC Pep Band is an exciting group of approximately 30 of the top brass, woodwind, and drum-set students that performs for various UTC athletic events in both the fall ad spring semesters. The band performs at all hoe men's and women's basketball games in the spring and selected volleyball matches in the fall. Participation in Pep Band offers students an opportunity to travel with the team to conference and NCAA basketball tournaments. Members are chosen by audition at the end of September from the membership of the "Marching Mocs." Students who participate in the Pep Band are required to register for the class in the spring semester which offers one hour of academic credit, and receive service awards (scholarships) for their participation.
