Motion Analysis Laboratory
The UTC Motion Analysis Laboratory (formerly the H. Carey Hanlin Motion Analysis Laboratory) has moved to its new location on the first floor of the James R. Mapp building. The new laboratory space is over 1800 square feet and allows for the 3D capture of human movement. The lab is equipped with 8 Vicon motion cameras (MX20+) and 2 Bertec 4060-10 force plates (multi-arrangement force plate pit). The UTC Motion Analysis Laboratory is used for DPT classes such as Kinesiology and Movement Disorders and well as student and faculty research projects.
