The residential community for undeclared students in the College of Arts and Sciences.

CAS Explorers is a residential learning community sponsored by the College of Arts and Sciences. It is open to undeclared first-year students interested in exploring one or more of these College of Arts and Sciences programs: Anthropology, Art, Biology, Chemistry, Communication, Criminal Justice, Environmental Science, English, Geology, History, Mathematics, Modern and Classical Languages, Music, Philosophy, Physics, Political Science, Psychology, Public Service, Religion, Sociology, and Theatre.
Students in CAS Explorers will interact with faculty from across the College of Arts and Sciences to learn about our different degree programs. With cohort classes, special mentoring, and engaging extracurricular activities, CAS Explorers members will develop a sense of community and acquire the knowledge, skills, and confidence to transform their passions into careers.
