Math Course Placement
The Department of Mathematics provides support for math and math related majors as well as the University's General Education Program. The major or minor you choose will determine which mathematics course(s) you will be required to take.
Several entry-level mathematics courses require a math placement score prior to registering for the course. If a student does not have this placement score, then he or she must meet an alternate criteria to take the course. The Math department offers both a placement test as well as summer boot camps to help a student meet this criterium.
