Mathematics Poster Competition
Math Poster Competition 2026
Each year, the Department of Mathematics of The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga holds its annual Mathematics Poster Competition with a theme related to mathematics. There are typically over 200 students from 10 local middle- and high schools who submit posters for consideration by the judges who represented several UTC academic departments; electrical engineering, computer engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, and mathematics. While the judging part of the competition takes place, students and teachers joined in a campus tour.
This year's poster contest will be held on Tues., Feb.10, 2026 in the Tennessee Room (room 239) of the University Center on the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga campus from approximately 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
