Closed Class Overrides
As long as there is a waitlist, the Department of Mathematics cannot give closed class overrides. Students will need to add themselves to the waitlist in order to get into the closed class. There are no exceptions to this rule.
After the waitlist is removed, closed class overrides can be obtained by first receiving approval from the instructor. Once this approval is received, students can receive the override from the department.
Pre-Requisite Overrides
In order to receive a pre-requisite override, students must provide the department proof of completion of the pre-requisite course or courses. This proof can be in the form of a grade sheet or unofficial transcript which shows the appropriate final grade. This can be a digital copy such as a screenshot. Students can receive an override for a course in which they are currently enrolled in the pre-requisite course by submitting proof of enrollment.
The Department of Mathematics does not give pre-requisite overrides if students have not completed or are currently enrolled in the pre-requisite courses.
