Other Programs (REU)
Each summer, institutions around the country host Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REUs).
These programs are funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF), National Institutes of Health (NIH), and other governmental and non-governmental granting agencies, and provide opportunities for students to participate in hands-on research between 8-10 weeks during the summer.
Students who participate in these programs receive a weekly stipend, housing and travel allowances, and professional development training.
