CITI Training
A Commitment to Responsibility
UTC’s commitment to responsible and ethical conduct in research (RECR) is supported, in part, by the University’s membership with the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) program, which provides online, comprehensive compliance training modules. RECR training is encouraged for the entire UTC research community. However, RECR training is required for all individuals working on federally-sponsored projects where the federal sponsor has mandated such education.
For more information about RECR training and step-by-step instructions on how to access CITI Program, please see the Office of Research Integrity webpage Responsible and Ethical Conduct of Research.
Export Control
UTC’s Export Control program works to ensure the UTC research community is aware of and protected when export controls apply to their research. Export control laws promote the national security, foreign policy and anti-terrorism goals of the United States. It is expected that all researchers and their staff engaging in controlled research activities complete appropriate Export Control training.
For more information about if your research activities fall under export control regulations and training requirements, please see the Office of Research Integrity webpage Export Control.
