Would you like to participate in summer research opportunities? Do you want to learn about applying to graduate school? Are you interested in developing your personal brand identity for career success? The Office for URaCE hosts a variety of professional development seminars during the fall and spring semesters to help you build your skills and prepare for future success. Topics include how to apply for paid, summer undergraduate research programs, and how to navigate graduate school applications. Students who want to build skills and prepare for success at UTC and beyond are encouraged to attend.

| Introduction to Machine Learning and Python for Undergraduate Researchers: This workshop will provide you with hands-on experience of machine learning and incorporating it into Python scripts. Participants will create a Python script that trains their computer during gameplay to eventually outperform the user. This is a great opportunity for first and second-year students who are seeking a research position but do not have experience with coding languages.
