Welcome to the Department of Mathematics

Our department offers degree programs at both the Undergraduate and Graduate level as well as provides extensive support for other programs requiring mathematics courses such as Engineering, Business, the School of Education, and the natural sciences. The department provides a wide variety of courses for the University’s General Education program and offers students the opportunity to minor in mathematics.

Our faculty are highly active in research and are committed to providing you the knowledge and skills necessary to meet your career goals. With over 50 declared majors, an active Pi Mu Epsilon Chapter, a National Science Foundation sponsored summer Research Experience for Undergraduates Program, and a weekly colloquium series, our department provides a diverse learning environment to pursue your interests in the field of Mathematics.
