Advising Process

First Time College Students

For the first and second semesters, your advising occurs in the Center for Academic Support and Advisement (CASA) located on the third floor of the library. For more information, please contact our office at [email protected] or 423-425-1781.

Continuing Students (second year and beyond, including transfer students)

Advising occurs in the School of Education. Your MyMocsNet account includes a link to your MyMocsDegree, which is a tool (degree audit) to help you track your progress to degree completion. Your advisor should be listed in the top section titled Comprehensive Checklist where you will find your name, UTC ID, classification, and Advisor’s name. If your MyMocsDegree does not have an advisor listed, please email [email protected].
