Preparation programs at UTC are accredited by the following national organizations:
- Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP)
- Council for Accreditation of Counseling & Related Education Programs (CACREP)
- National Association of School Psychologists (NASP)
- National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC)
The UTC Children's Center has been accredited by the National Association for the education of Young Children since 1987.

As a component of CAEP accreditation, UTC reports and prominently displays data on its website relating to the four Annual Reporting measures established by CAEP.
