According to the Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame Bylaws, new inductees to the Hall of Fame may be inducted in one of two categories:

Pioneer: Early entrepreneurial founders who played a pivotal role in shaping Chattanooga’s entrepreneurial history

Contemporary: Current entrepreneurs who are shaping the Chattanooga regional economy through business success and community leadership

In addition, any nominee must meet the following criteria for eligibility:
