Our Role in Promoting Equal Opportunity and Accessibility:
The Office of Equal Opportunity and Accessibility proactively works to uphold the University's commitment to equal opportunity and access through the following efforts:
- Consultation and Complaint Resolution
- Meeting with individuals to address concerns related to discrimination and conducting investigations into complaints involving protected characteristics, including race, sex (including sexual harassment), color, religion, national origin, age, disability, or veteran status.
- Training and Education
- Developing and delivering educational programs for faculty, staff, and students on topics related to compliance, accessibility, and inclusive practices.
- Regulatory Compliance
- Preparing and submitting annual reports and compliance plans, including the University's Title VI and Title IX implementation plans.
- Campus Engagement
- Supporting a welcoming and inclusive campus through the sponsorship of programs, events, and educational initiatives.
