Scholarship Resources

Keep this in mind when searching for scholarships.

1. You should never be required to pay a fee to apply for a scholarship.
2. You may have to complete an application, write an essay or submit a project to receive a scholarship.
3. Each college has a scholarship application. Complete the application before the deadline!
4.  Check with the department of your major for any available scholarships.
5. The Educational Opportunity Center has several books and websites with a variety of scholarships. You're welcome to use our resources by coming by.
6. The Educational Opportunity Center awards several scholarships to UTC students. If you are a UTC student, or plan on transferring to UTC, call 423-425-1702 to schedule an appointment to complete our scholarship application.
