Talia Welsh team teaches UHON 3590–Topics in Non-Western Culture: Zen, Film, and Anime. her research and teaching specialize in continental philosophy (especially phenomenology), the philosophy of psychology, and feminist theory. She is the author of Child Psychology & Pedagogy: Maurice Merleau-Ponty at the Sorbonne (Northwestern University Press, 2010) and The Child as Natural Phenomenologist: Primal and Primary Experience in Merleau-Ponty’s Psychology (Northwestern University Press, 2013), as well as numerous articles on phenomenology and childhood, among other subjects.
