How to Declare the Minor

Steps for Selecting the Africana Studies Minor

 

  1. Go to https://www.utc.edu/academic-affairs/registrar/change-requests
  2. Click on Forms
  3. Click Program/Minor/Catalog Year Change Request drop-down menu 
  4. Click on Program/Minor/Catalog Year Change Request drop-down menu
  5. Select Program/Minor/Catalog Year Change Request
  6. Select Current and Returning Students drop-down menu
  7. Select Program, Minor, Catalog Year Change Request → and log in with your credentials
  8. Click on Minor Change Request (section II) and answer all questions with a red *
  9. Select Yes
  10. Choose Add
  11. Select Africana Studies from the drop-down menu
  12. Click all 4 boxes under section IV
  13. Click to sign and date 
  14. Click the submit button at the bottom of the page
  15. This completes the process for selecting the Africana Studies Minor
