Give to Africana Studies
It is the mission of the Africana Studies Program to become the programmatic center of academic and cultural education and learning in this region. As we move forward in this direction, fundraising will be a crucial part of both our programmatic development and enhancement of our academic, student, and community engagement initiatives.
The Africana Studies Program’s mission is to foster impactful and engaging scholarship and to enhance the education of our students throughout their matriculation. We are dedicated to enhancing our students’ sense of servant leadership and the need to be engaged, connected, and enlightened members of their individual and shared communities. Donations to the Africana Studies Program’s General Fund help provide operational and programmatic support for the Africana Studies Program, as well as support for its student-support initiatives.
Your generous donations will help provide our students with emergency and transitional funds, travel to national and regional conferences and community-based events, as well as travel to museums, exhibits and other hands-on activities that support and enhance academic learning and help nurture our students’ wholistic development. Thus, we invite you to become an integral partner in, and supporter of, our work. Consider donating to the Africana Studies Program to help support our mission, as we work to build stronger relationships and to meet the ever-growing needs of our wonderful and engaged student body.
