About Us

The Walker Center for Teaching and Learning (WCTL) advances faculty development and promotes excellence in teaching through a variety of programs, services, and collaborative initiatives. The Center provides resources for evidence-based pedagogy and works with academic departments to develop programming and foster curriculum innovation. Key offerings include weekly workshops on course design and delivery, individual and group consultations, and specialized support for experiential learning and emerging issues in higher education, such as generative AI literacy. The WCTL also sponsors signature programming, including faculty fellows working groups and book clubs.
