High-Impact Practices Development Grant recipient Elicia Cruz partnered with the Orange Grove Center and UTC Occupational Therapy Community Health Collaborative to create a multisensory experience in a classroom at the Orange Grove Center. The multisensory station will increase participation, moderate alertness levels, and decrease emotional and behavioral outbursts. This project also focused on engaging older adults living with dementia to increase their participation in activities that bolster cognitive and creative processes.
