Leadership and Professional/Instructional Practice Degree Requirements
Overview of Degree Requirements*
The major components of the Leadership and Professional/Instructional Practice Doctoral Program (link: EdD Program of Study) include:
- Successful completion of 1 credit hour of foundational coursework
- Successful completion of 24 credit hours of required coursework
- Successful completion of 18 credit hours of elective coursework
- Successful completion/defense of the Comprehensive Assessment
- A cumulative grade point average of 3.0 in the doctoral program with no more than two grades below a “B”
- Successful completion of 5 credit hours of Pre-Research Project of Practice
- Successful completion of a minimum of 12 credit hours of Research Project of Practice (RPOP) and successful defense of the RPOP and approval by the Graduate School
