Rhetoric & Professional Writing
Following a rich history of public communication and civic engagement, UTC’s Rhetoric & Professional Writing concentration offers students access to the theories and practices of public discourse.
Our courses range from studies of ancient argument strategies to new theories about visual design and include applied courses in writing, design, and public rhetoric.
We engage students in the arts of public communication, encourage civic engagement and a broader understanding of the history of discourse practices, and provide training in real world writing and design
