Credit for completed coursework
Students transferring to UTC will receive credit for coursework attempted at other regionally accredited institutions. Our transfer process ensures that you receive credit for the college-level work you’ve already completed.
Credit for your associate’s degree: Tennessee Transfer Pathway
UTC’s articulation agreements with Tennessee community colleges allows students who have received an associate’s degree to complete a baccalaureate at UTC.

FERPA
FERPA, also known as the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act, is a federal law enacted to give students certain
rights with respect to their education records. UTC strives to fully comply with FERPA by protecting the privacy of education records and judiciously evaluating requests for release of information from those records.
