TN HOPE Scholarship Expansion

Qualifying students can now use remaining TN HOPE Scholarship eligibility to pursue an advanced degree!

  • Funding: Can be utilized for graduate school tuition & fees (up to $2,850 per semester).
  • Eligibility: Students must begin coursework directly after completing an undergraduate degree (excluding summer terms).
  • Credit Hours: Full scholarship requires enrollment in at least 9 credit hours. Partial scholarships are available for fewer hours.
  • Duration: Students can utilize the TN HOPE Scholarship for 5 total years after high school graduation.

Noyce Fellowship Program

Make an impact and inspire the next generation of STEM professionals!

The UTC Robert Noyce Teacher Fellowship Program can help STEM graduates earn a fully funded M. Ed. Secondary Education degree and teacher certification in 14 months – with additional salary stipends and supplemental benefits after graduation.

The Noyce Fellowship Program is sponsored by the National Science Foundation and seeks to encourage talented professionals in STEM disciplines to pursue careers in high school and middle school teaching. 

In 4 semesters, students will be able to earn their M.Ed. in Secondary Education. Upon graduation, the fellow is expected to teach 4 years in high-needs schools in Hamilton County or other specified high-needs districts (must be completed within the first 6 years of graduation).
