About Graduate Student Association
What we do
The Graduate Student Association (GSA) is the official governing body of graduate and professional students at University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. We strive to be advocates for graduate students' rights both on and off campus through UTC administrative committees, regular correspondence with the Chancellor, Vice Chancellors, and other officials that govern UTC. As an organization, we work to ensure our graduate voice is heard by all academic programs through the Advisory Board which encompasses members of all the UTC graduate degree programs.
Additionally, we are understanding of the time restrictions and busy lives of the graduate students and therefore try to schedule meetings and events that are accessible to everyone. We remain dedicated to providing opportunities for social events. Our programming and advocacy is determined by ALL graduate students in EVERY program, so please contact us if you would like to get involved or know how we can better serve the graduate student body.
