Special Collections’ University Archives holdings cover a wide range of subjects related to the history of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and its predecessor institutions:

  • Chattanooga University (1886-1889) 
  • Grant University (1889-1907) 
  • University of Chattanooga (1907-1969)

The University also includes records pertaining to Chattanooga City College, and its predecessor institution, Zion College, which merged with the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 1969.
