Biography
Virginia Cairns holds a BA in Foreign Languages from Rhodes College and an MLIS degree from Louisiana State University. Her professional background includes more than 25 years serving in a variety of positions in both academic and medical libraries. As a member of the Instruction Team here at UTC, Virginia enjoys planning and leading instruction sessions as well as devising new instructional activities to teach specific research skills and concepts.
