RN-BSN Gateway Classes (100% online)

The RN-BSN Gateway program consists of 22 credit hours not including general education.  Students typically take the following: Fall (9 credits), Spring (6 credits), and Summer (7 credits). Please see the Online and Distance fee schedules distributed by the Bursars Office or the for current rates. For 2026, tuition for nine credit hours is $3977 for Tennessee residents and $4229 for out-of-state. In addition, there is a $115 per credit hour Nursing differential fee. The estimated total per credit hour for online nursing tuition/fees is $560 per credit hour for in-state and $586 per credit hour for out-of-state. 

General Education

Check with your Nursing advisor to see what General Education classes you need and on your options for completing these.

Books

Some Gateway classes require a textbook, so budget around $200/semester for this expense. Used books, rental textbooks, or e-Book versions can lower your cost.
