Expedition: First Gen Summit
Join us this summer for Expedition: First Gen Summit, August 17-19. Find your path to success at UTC alongside other first-generation students and meet your Trail Guide—your peer mentor for your first year. You'll move in early, engage in activities to understand your expedition style, explore Chattanooga, and get to know UTC before the campus opens.

All UTC students are invited to a welcoming event held every fall at the McKenzie Arena that recognizes the beginning of your college career at UTC. Expect to learn how to be a Moc, meet new friends and become part of a great tradition.

CHOOSE YOUR PATH. LEAVE YOUR MARK. Enjoy a week of events created especially for first gen students. Events will help you meet other first gen students while enjoying rock wall climbing, free food and giveaways, a community service project and more!
