The Multicultural Center is a great place to host your organization's next event!
Our large open room comfortably sits 30, and can be arranged to suit your event needs. Our space boasts state-of-the art multimedia equipment with a 55" digital monitor and surround sound.
Space request forms must be completed in full and submitted two weeks before the event date.
Forms must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Mondays and are reviewed every Tuesday. You will be notified within 24 hours whether the request is approved or denied or if any additional information is needed. You will then have 24 hours to provide any requested information.
Requests will not be considered approved until all necessary information is provided. The standard method of communication will be email, unless otherwise indicated. Requests will only be approved for events happening during MCC normal operating hours or upon availability of MCC Staff.
Upon approval, it is your responsibility to coordinate any special requests or services for your event (audiovisual, catering, security, tables, chairs, lighting).
Event organizers may utilize Aramark Food Services for event catering needs or an off-campus vendor.
Event hosts are fully responsible for any property damage. Furniture should not be moved unless specified and approved along with room reservation request. Sliders must be used when moving heavy furniture. Furniture must be returned to its original position after every event.
If A/V equipment is used, it must be powered off after use.
Event hosts are responsible for cleaning up after their events. Place trash bins outside of the center after evening events.
