Graduation Celebration

The Multicultural Graduation Celebration is a hallmark event that allows for family, friends, alumni, faculty and staff, to celebrate with graduates in a more intimate space. The program includes remarks from representatives of the Chancellor’s Executive Leadership Team, a graduate reflection video, the presentation of stoles, recognition of student involvement and accomplishments, extemporaneous salutes from graduates and guests, followed by an upbeat reception.

Each year the Office of Multicultural Affairs invites the campus community to embrace the accomplishments of the students, as they transition through this rite of passage and become alumni.
