First-Time Freshman
Definition: Applicants currently still in high school, just graduated high school or never attended planning to attended a college/university before enrolling at UTC to obtain a bachelor's degree.
Planning to attend UTC? We encourage you to review the Net Price Calculator for an estimate of costs and average aid awarded. The Net Price Calculator is a broad estimator of cost and financial aid, and does not represent an individual offer of aid. More than half of all students at UTC receive some type of financial aid.
We encourage you to apply early as most funds are limited. You must apply for financial aid each year by completing the FAFSA available January 1 online at studentaid.gov.
The scholarship application is available online through your MyMocsNet account from August 1st through February 1st of each year. Scholarships are very competitive and funding is limited. Therefore, you are advised to apply within 3-5 days of your acceptance by UTC Admissions.
You must be fully admitted to UTC through the Admissions Office before we can process your financial aid. We generally begin processing financial aid early to mid-March. Undergraduate students who apply for financial aid are considered for the following Types of Aid once the FAFSA is completed.
