K-14 Project Registration
Calling all middle, high school, and community college projects!
You are invited to present your STEM-based projects at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga (UTC) College of Engineering and Computer Science (CECS) Technology Symposium. The Tech Symposium is a community-focused event, showcasing projects from all area students. You can participate in this event virtually OR in person!
If you are a teacher and would like have your class attend the Technology Symposium, please select Virtual Field Trips from the side navigation. Complete the form, will be shared with Hamilton County Education Leaders and you will be contacted with more info.
Project Concentrations are as follows:
- Geothermal Energy
- Water Treatment
- Alternate Energy Transportation
- Self-Contained Ecosystems
- Home Energy Use
- Global Climate Change
- Other
Deadline to pre-register is March 15th!
There is a two-step process for participating in the Technology Symposium.
- Step 1: Sign up via our project pre-registration form
- Step 2: Fill out the Completed Project Submission form (once you have completed your project and are ready to present)
Step 1: Project Pre-registration
Please fill out the following form to let us know that you will be participating in this year's Technology Symposium. After pre-registration, you will be notified when it is time to submit your project (including your video presentation and poster).
Step 2: Completed Project Submission
PLEASE NOTE: The registration form below is the final registration of your project for the day of the event. Once you have your poster and video ready for the Technology Symposium, then please fill out the project submission form.
Please use this form if you are in middle school, high school, community college or a non-UTC 4-year institution.
Submissions must include:
- PDF of poster
- Abstract
- Brief video explaining the project (with your YouTube link)
