The nursing program at UTC will afford you a wonderful opportunity to meet your career goals. There is a program-wide commitment to help each student achieve his or her goal of becoming a nurse. We are ranked as one of the top nursing programs by College Atlas as well as one of America’s Best Nursing Schools in the eastern region.
Students in our nursing program have the opportunity to experience nursing in a variety of health care settings. We utilize all of the major hospitals in our area and offer additional experiences in schools, clinics, nursing homes, and home health agencies. Our state of the art simulation lab gives students the opportunity to have authentic experiences in a safe environment.
Monthly information sessions are held in the fall and spring semesters. Information sessions include a campus tour, lab tour, and presentation on the nursing program. To register for one of these information sessions, please register with UTC Admissions.
In addition, UTC hosts a visit day on a Saturday in the fall and spring semesters. During the Fall Visit Day and Spring Blue & Gold Preview Day, the lab is open for tours from 11:00-12:30 pm.
Lab tours outside of the fall and spring semesters are unavailable due to the heavy use of our lab facilities. Visits to tour the lab facilities in the summer are available by appointment only.
