Conducting Evidence Synthesis: Getting Started with Systematic or Scoping Reviews
Academics are familiar with the importance of evidence synthesis through systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and similar research. While evidence synthesis work is highly valued for its strict adherence to protocols and procedures, it can be challenging for the researcher to navigate all of the requirements, suggestions, and tools needed to conduct this important work.
This workshop will outline the basics of getting started with evidence synthesis and provide participants with information such as review team expertise, methodology models, synthesis protocols, inclusion/exclusion criteria considerations, screening tools, and more.
