Included for full-time and part-time:
- Access to academic facilities such as the UTC Library, student health services and fitness center
- Entry to sporting events, UTC outdoors trips, open lectures, concerts and art exhibits.
- Participation in events and field trips organized by the Center for Global Education
- UTC Student ID card
- Complimentary use of Chattanooga’s CARTA public transportation system
Additional costs may apply (e.g. mandatory health insurance for F-1 visa holders, one TOEFL prep textbook).
Only eligible students can enroll in part-time courses (e.g. permanent residents, F-2 visa holders, U.S. Citizens, E visa holders, L visa holders).
F-1 visa holders are legally required to enroll in a full-time program.

For each additional dependent, add $3,000 for a spouse $2,000 for a child to cover their costs of living in the U.S.
Requesting an I-20 for more than one term requires submission of proof of funding for more than one term.

UTC Health Insurance
International students (F-1 visa holders) are required to obtain health insurance.

Students are covered by health insurance from orientation day until the end-of-semester event. ESL students are advised to acquire additional health insurance for their annual vacation and breaks between the semesters.
