Your decision to live in one of these exciting communities will impact you in positive ways for the rest of your life.
The Go Global Housing Community allows returned study abroad students, international exchange students and ESL students from all over the world to live with and learn from one another. Here, international students practice speaking English, engage in cultural exchange and learn about Chattanooga and the American South. International students live with American students minoring or majoring in foreign languages or international relations.

- How do I apply?
Email the ESL Coordinator. We'll share the application instructions with you.
- Where will I live?
International students are housed in Stophel Apartments or UC Foundation Apartments. An apartment consists of 4 private bedrooms and 2 shared bathrooms.
- Who will I live with?
You will live in the Go Global Community with both American and international students.
International students live and learn from returning UTC international exchange students and other new international students from all over the world.
- How much does it cost?
The estimated rate is $4,602.00 per semester per student.
There is also a $25 application fee when you apply for housing.
All residents are also automatically enrolled in a meal plan at varying costs.

- When do I pay?
You will pay a $25 application fee upon completing your housing application.
You will also have to pay a $400 pre-payment to secure your housing.
All other housing fees are due at registration.
- How do I pay?
UTC Housing will send you an email with instructions on how to pay the $400 pre-payment fee.
Your UTC account (Mocs account) will be charged for the rest.
- When can I arrive?
The ESL Coordinator will give you the early move in date.
You can usually arrive a day or two before the International Student Orientation Day.- Is it mandatory to live on campus?
No, it is not.
You can live off campus, but you will have to find accommodation on your own.
