Learn more about this instructor:

Hometown: Everytown, Everywhere. I'm a global citizen!

Areas of Expertise:  My areas of expertise include Creative Writing, Communication, Composition Theory, ESL Pedagogy, and Writing Center Theory and Practice. I enjoy teaching a diverse number of ESL courses ranging from CEFR Levels A1-C2 as well as undergraduate courses in English Composition.

Favorite place on campus:  My favorite place on campus changes as often as the weather because there are so many wonderful options. Right now, the Chamberlain Quad is ideal. I love to see students and faculty taking it easy on the green, lounging in hammocks with books, or chatting with each other at café tables. It's a pleasant reminder that learning is a luxury and we should all enjoy the experience. Check out this link to the Chamberlain Quad Cam to get a glimpse of our beloved quadrangle and a peep at where the Power 'C' lives.

Favorite thing about UTC: It's a beautiful campus and dedicated community of lifetime learners where students come first.

Interesting facts: I've toured the southeast region as a musician performing with a number of bands from various genres. An acoustic hang drum and a digital handpan are just two of the instruments on my instrument wish list.
