Our Program Mission
The Institute for English Language Learning at UTC facilitates language skills development for non-native English speakers of varying proficiency levels and backgrounds, empowering them to achieve their academic, professional, and personal goals. Aligning instruction to real-world contexts, the Institute provides research-based English language instruction that centers individual learner needs, motivations, and goals. The Institute also supports students in adjusting to U.S. culture through experiential learning and community engagement.
