The MS Engineering Management: Engineering Analytics concentration is designed for students with any backgrounds who want to develop strong analytical, data-driven decision-making skills for modern engineering environments. This concentration prepares graduates to apply advanced analytics, data visualization, machine learning fundamentals, and process automation techniques to solve real-world engineering and managerial problems.
The Engineering Analytics concentration focuses on equipping students with practical skills in data preparation, predictive-prescriptive modeling, engineering statistics, dashboarding, and contemporary no-code/low-code analytics platforms that are widely used in industry. Students learn how to transform raw engineering data into actionable insights that improve operations, support evidence-based decisions, and enhance organizational competitiveness. No coding experience is required!
Students gain experience in:
- Applying analytics to engineering processes, systems, and operations
- Integrating quantitative engineering methods with modern automation tools
- Working with datasets typically found in manufacturing, supply chain, quality management, and engineering operations
- Using no-code/code-friendly tools/platforms (e.g., Alteryx, Power-BI, Tableau, AI platforms) to build repeatable, automated engineering analytics solutions

33 hours (including 15 hours of core & capstone courses + 9 hours of Engineering Analytics courses + 9 hours of electives).
