Bachelor of Applied Science: Information Technology in Cybersecurity
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering in the College of Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga is now offering a transformative, accelerated Bachelor of Applied Science degree program in Information Technology in Cybersecurity (BAS-ITCyS) starting Spring 2023. The program is intended for individuals with an Associate of Science (AS), students transferring from a 4-year institution, and working individuals seeking to transition their careers to the IT field.
This innovative, accelerated program is designed to maximize student learning opportunities in workplace settings through internship experiences throughout the program and intends to quickly move students to the workplace. Full-time students meeting the pre-enrollment requirements will finish the program in a year with six terms of intense year-round learning. Scholarships and supplementary stipends are available for enrolled students.

Once logged in, select the blue button that says, "Other Applications" and you will see the option to select "BAS-IT Cybersecurity Program Application" from that drop down.
Application Process
Requirements to Enroll in the Program: Completion of 60 credit hours, including general education and basic science and math courses. An AS degree from a Tennessee community college typically meet the requirements.
