Scholarships

There are numerous scholarship opportunities that prospective ROTC Cadets can apply for – including full ride scholarships.

Prospective Cadets

Individuals interested in joining the Army ROTC program can explore the in’s and out’s of the program. Students are encouraged to sign up for Cadet for a Day to see what a day in the life of a Cadet is like.

Joining the Army ROTC program is a great way to earn practical leadership training and experience, while propelling yourself into a professional salaried job in the U.S. Army. ROTC at UTC offers the same large campus resources, with more one-on-one training and mentorship.

Full Tuition Scholarship Opportunities

The ROTC offers national scholarships to help support the cost of college tuition.

Leadership & Management Training

You receive hands-on, practical leadership and management training that can be applied to military and civilian training.

Large Resources, Small Classes

As an extension program to UTK, the UTC ROTC program has the same large-scale resources with smaller class sizes and more one-on-one training.

Stipend Support

Cadets receive a tax-free, monthly stipend of $420.

“I joined UTC’s ROTC program because of the numerous opportunities it provides. It takes young adults and gives them a way to pay for their education. In return, I get to form new lifelong bonds with other Cadets, increase my physical and mental fitness, and gain the knowledge necessary to become a successful Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army. The best part is that I can do all this while pursuing my interests in foreign language and music!
